Zusammenfassung
Ergebnis der Präsidentschaftswahlen vom 25. Mai 2014 ist, dass Petro Poroschenko, Oligarch und Politiker, der nächste Präsident der Ukraine sein wird. Zum ersten Mal in der ukrainischen Geschichte wird es keinen zweiten Wahlgang geben – 54,7% der Wähler haben Poroschenko unterstützt. Mit großem Abstand folgt Ex-Premierministerin Julia Timoschenko (12,81%). Die Wahlbeobachter haben die Wahlen, mit Ausnahme der Regionen Donezk und Luhansk, als frei und fair bezeichnet.
